Blogging.... hmmm, where do you begin, well I have never been one for writing diaries (I think that I managed one diary when I was about 14), and I am assuming that I should start using this as an electronic diary for my crafting which I will attempt to keep up to date. Wish me Luck!!! So here goes......................
Mothers Day
I look after a little group on a parenting website which goes by the name of Crafty Bums (Mums..... yes I know a very poor attempt at humour so shoot me!!). Its a fantastic little group where people share ideas as well as their skills whilst discussing parenting. The latest thing to go up was the 'Exploding Photo Box' from Glitter Adventures Blog, the instructions are clear and concise and obviously can be completely adapated to create something unique and personal. So this was my task for today and I am thrilled with the results apart from the slight splodge on MUM (which looks better now its fully dried), but I am chuffed with my first attempt.I am sure my mum will absolutely adore it and I now have to make another one for my mother-in-law. I am definately going to be doing one of these as a gift for my nan this Xmas, so at least thats one prezzie I can tick off the list.

Paper Beads
I love making paper beads, experimenting with different colour paper can bring some fantastic effects, the only thing I am struggling with at the moment is varnishing the little buggers.
With something that is so quick and easy to make the finishing process drives me mad. I have to stick three of these little blighters on a cocktail stick then paint them indivdually with varnish. They look great once finished but really there has got to be a better way to varnish them (answers on a post card please).
